3rd Annual Porter Township Community Safety Jamboree.

The event kicked off “National Fire Prevention Week” in our Township.

This free event was held at the Porter Township Volunteer Fire Department Station 2 (Lake Eliza Station) located on Division Road on Sunday, October 9th

In the wake of the Hurricane Katrina disaster, this was an excellent opportunity for all of our citizens to learn more about how to prepare for disaster or emergency.

We Thank Representatives of:

The Porter Township & Lakes of the Four Seasons Volunteer Fire Departments

Porter County Sheriff’s Department

Porter County Emergency Management Agency

Porter County HAZMAT

The Porter County Chapter of The American Red Cross

for being in attendance to answer our questions and provide valuable information.
